Cause
From The Practical Ontology & Compendium of Social Cohesion
Definition: As used herein, Cause and Causality refer to the four Aristotelian explanations for why an Event happens. The four Causes or explanations are the material, formal, efficient, and final. Contemporary science appears to concentrate on material and efficient Causality.
