Definition: As used herein, Event refers to any happening in the Universe that occupies time. Comments It may be interesting but not especially useful for our purpose here to contemplate lofty concepts such as the space-time continuum. To keep our Conversation on a basis that we can Understand and therefore use in practical ways, I divide the Universe simply into Objects (things) and Events (happenings). Contrast: Object
